Received the slicer yesterday. The slicer looks sturdy. The blades are sharp. But I don't understand what are the three holes on the slicer for as I feel that the potato slice shape will affect because of the three holes. Also they are very sharp. One might injure the hand if not handled properly.Updated review: Returned it within 3 days of receiving as the blade was not stable at all. Every time i pushed to slice, the blade used to get loose. The adjustable knob didn't work properly and it gave me very thick potato slices.
