i find the dosa size just enough not too big not too small. the preseasoning was good because when i just washed and oiled and after frying some sliced onions, i made a dosa and it came out pretty perfect with less oil .. the oil does go off to edges probably due to the heating in the centre making the tawa to bulge lightly.. but we use onion/cloth to dab the oil on the tawa so the oil running off to the edges is not much of an issue to us.

Bought this tawa to use in induction cooktop. Just in my second usage it formed a crack in low temperature. I think it is not for induction cooktop.

The width of the skillet from rim-to-rim is eight inches. The working surface area is small and one can feel the constrain while cooking. The edges are ver shallow and as Indian kitchen countertops are not leveled properly the oil kept looping on a side making cooking impossible.
