Quality is not good...coz the surface in the center part & the sides have become kind of rough surface despite all the seasoning & washing precautions.But the size we got is too huge than we expected, so quite disappointed since it occupies major space on gas stove due to which other cookware have to be kept carefully. Also, my mom got burnt twice due to its oversize

Value for money, compared to other costly items on the site. Dosas started coming off easily after 4-5 failed dosas, which is pretty fine, and expected on an iron tawa. Just make sure to apply oil generously for the first few dosas, and make think dosas in the beginning. After 4-5 dosas, I am able to make thin crispy dosas, with minimum oil.Also, we need to regulate the heat by sprinkling water at the center of the tawa for every 2-3 dosas, so the middle part of dosa is not burnt. Basically you need to know how to manage an iron tawa. I have been seeing an iron tawa in my house since childhood, so I know how to make use of it. Wouldn't take long to figure out even if you are new to it.Just go for this one, affordable and best of the available lot.
