Rock sugar or candy sugar commonly known as mishri is an unrefined form of sugar commonly used for culinary as well as medicinal purposes and is made from crystallised and flavoured sugar. It is less sweet than refined sugar which is a variation of taste in comparison to traditionally used white sugar.
