This is a very toned down, watered down version of ginger ????.... doesn’t have the strong smell or taste. Bought it for a gingerbread cookie recipe that asked for ginger powder. The cookie was a disaster. Started adding it to tea. No help there either!!Most Urban Platter products are good, this one’s a major disappointment!!

I thought this to be kinda expensive to other cheaper options available in amazon.inDIA but I ended up realising that this Urban Platter Dried Ginger Powder is SUPRIME and much, much higher in quality in comparison. Best example I can give is; it's AWESOME even when directly added to give a ginger flavouring to you black tea... hence the 5 stars
