Simple steps to make Non Veg Biryani (Serving for 4 people):- Gravy:- In a bowl add 1/2 kg chicken 3 tsp oil 1/2 cup hung curd 1.5 tsp ginger garlic paste 8 green chillies chopped salt to taste 1.5 tsp Ciba Chicken Masala Powder and mix well. Put it in an air tight box for 4 hrs in fridge. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan add 1 sliced onion marinated chicken 2 tsp Ciba Biryani Masala Powder and let it cook. Rice: - In 1.5 glass rice add salt 1 tsp lemon juice and cook until rice is 70% cooked. Strain excess water. Assemble: - Add 2 tsp ghee in a vessel (flat heavy base). Make 4 alternate layers - 2 gravy & 2 rice. On every layer of rice sprinkle 1 tsp ghee 1.5 sliced onions (deep fried) 5 saffron threads soaked in warm milk chopped mint & coriander leaves. Cover with lid & seal edges with flour dough. Let it cook for 10 min on sim gas. Serve hot with raita.

I bought this for Rs 49/- (50 gm) & following are my observations.Pros:+ Like other masalas from the same brand that i have tried this also is mild spicy (Personal preference) and adds a nice change of taste to home made biryani to give it a restaurant angled tinge. Consists of everyday spices like red chili, black pepper, cardamom, cumin seeds, coriander to name a few.+ Has a validity of 10 months and i got a pack hardly 2 weeks old which is excellent. (SELLER - Ciba spices)+ This is fssai approved and 100% veg.Cons:- Though the price is economical but shipping charges make it expensive. This is an excellent brand for people preferring mild spicy masalas. Coming under 'Pantr', or 'Amazon fulfilled' to lower the delivery charges will help immensely.=======VERDICT=======Recommended for those who like biryani rich in taste with mild spice.

* Good quality masala with variety of spices as ingredients (see picture for ingredients list from the pack).* Smells and tastes good.* No issues with quality but per pack quantity is only 50g and with shipping cost it is expensive. Will help if it comes with prime shipping or in Amazon Pantry so that cost including delivery is justified.* The pack gives a recipe of non veg biryani but masala works well for vegetable rice biryani that we make.

Well you need these if you want your biriyani to taste like restaurant. You can use it to cook both veg and non veg biryani.Ingredients are turmeric, chilli, coconut, black pepper, clove and nutmeg . I would recommend adding more coriander/cumin and garam masala depending on your taste preference. Overall, definitely worth the price!
