Poha Chivda is a popular dish in North India during Diwali days made using flattened rice. This Ciba Poha pack weighs about 800 grams, contains Poha with a masala pack which is essentially made of♦ Turmeric♦ Chilli♦ Salt♦ Dry Manago Powder♦ Asafoetida♦ Dry Ginger Powder♦ CorrianderThis masala pack brings the good taste of Poha, a healthy diet. However, we also consume using milk or water. Generally flattened rice is good at absorbing water or milk, you can try this method for an awesome sweet taste1. Coconut flakes - 1 cup2. Aval/Flattened rice - 250g3. Hot Milk - 300g4. Jaggery - As per tasteYou can add Sugar as well, however Jaggery is good for health compared to refined Sugar. This is very easy to prepare and needs no cooking. Just soak this for 10-15 minutes, and the dish is ready!.The Poha pack is well contained, no smell of old stocks and the box says up to 6 months from expiry, while the pack I received had printed packed date as 15/12/17 which is just a weeks time. Glad Ciba spices seller packs it freshly. This is important, as old stocks will lead to small insects grow within the pack!. Look for small black or white insects. Always Wash it in water and inspect this before you start to prepare. If possible, put the remaining into airproof box and refrigerate.Final words, I recommend buying this Poha, amazing and healthy diet. Delivery time could be shorter, 6 days seems.
