The product came in a beautiful jar. The delivery was fast and packing was wonderful. I bought this to use it in low salt cooking. Yeast extract being high in glutamate it may serve the purpose of reducing salt by enhancing the savoury taste of food. Something like a replacement for msg. This contain a lot of sodium about 1710mg per 100g. I think this product is meant to be used like a seasoning after cooking.

I absolutely love this!I add this to practically everything I eat from salads, pasta, fried rice and so much more. The taste is good and goes well with everything. The only problem is the packaging - as soon as the moisture reaches,the whole product is ruined, which is quite hard to not happen as you're putting it over hot food with all the steam. And this has happened everytime I've ordered this product.Because of this the product becomes hard and gets wasted everytime. I'll still order it though because the taste and the price!

Don't buy this! Better to buy more expensive nutrional yeast like Bragg, if u want vegan cheesy flavor. Taste is not so nice, and after open became dry and hard as stone. Harder than jaggery, u cannot even use it! Not nice! I got it bcs was cheaper, but not worthed at all. Don't do same mistake I did

The product solidified like rock and was not fit to be used. It is supposed to be a powder but caked into solid rock. It was kept in a cool dry place as required.Needs to be investigatedMB

Edit - Just like other reviewers have said, the yeast got caked up. But I'm still using it to make the cheese sauce. I really hope its OK to use even if it is caked.So, this was my first ever experience with Nutritional Yeast. I have used it thrice so far. Used it to make cheesy pasta ???? And it came out wonderful all the three times. You can't obviously have it on its own. The flavour is nice and cheesy. If you're a first timer with Nutritional Yeast, I'll give it a thumbs up. ???? I would like to try the Unfortified Nutritional Yeast Flakes next time.
