I was shocked and disappointed!! I love urban platter as this brand has amazing VEGAN products????. But this date syrup's ingredients were just dates and water. However, it solidfied and crystallized into suagr once opened. This has never happened, why would they put sugar in it and lie about the ingredients?

Haven't used this in everyday cooking but used it as a sugar substitute while making baked pasta. It tasted great, can't tell it's date syrup so anyone worried about changes in flavour, not to worry.
