food remains hot for 2 to 3 hrs only in winter when its full to the brim....otherwise it is a very good serving bowl, only sponge can be used to keep the lustre of product....no microwave and heating property...so dont expect it as a proper casserole..

Its a nice purchase. They are good looking pieces and keep food warm for a couple of hours. They are well made and lids are strong. But bear in mind they are not like heavy pieces. They are lightweight. But It doesnt mean they are flimsy. They do the job well. Sizes are good and useful.
