The glass dome does not fit well on the wooden base , also the shape of the dome is not flattened on the top as in all the product pictures. The overall look is not that satisfactory.

Like the finish. Like the price. The dome is all glass and the antique finish to the wood is classy. Good for a one pound standard cake. I bought multiple - as great for gifting.One of the domes were shattered and I didn’t notice at the time of delivery. Would like to contact seller for ordering another dome - without the platter.
