The first time I ordered this pan, the packaging had been tampered with and I got an old used futura pan! However Amazon replaced my item immediately and I finally got my Bergner non stick.The pan looks beautiful, is non stick ( unlike the prestige non stick I had ordered earlier) and is easy to use and clean.

We have used ONLY Bergner Scarlett cast aluminum wear since 2011.This is the FIRST (and hopefully last) disappointment.the induction base of the pan in one place separated from the main base causing it to be useless on our induction hob and dangerous too.this has happened just a couple of days ago just after warranty expiry. Coincidence much????Need replacement as its advertised that its long lasting.

Its a comfortably large sized pan. Heats evenly almost until the end edges of the pan on the large burner on medium heat. Cooks food evenly. No hot spots. very light weight given its size. I bought this cause i wanted to cook a large quantity of stirred veggies in 1pan and in less oil (SSteel pans need a lot of oil) and it does this job. Am happy with this purchase and also surprised there are no reviews here yet.Durability: the above review is after using 4 times only. Not sure about durability yet. But the quality of the non stick seems good and if used with silicon / wooden utensils while cooking and soft sponge to clean with very less soap this should definitely last very long. The key to make non stick last is to wipe off the surface with a kitchen tissue when there are no stuck food particles inside and use soap only on the outside and handle for as many times as you are comfortable.

I have always been a fan of Bergner/Kaiserhoff products and have been ordering their products regularly. The products come with the assurance of Germany quality and build. The only thing I noticed this time is that the pan seems a bit lighter than the previous generation pan which I recently discarded. It can mean two things, either the company has done some innovation and made the product lighter or the company has cut costs and used a lighter/cheaper material. I guess time will tell.
