With the passage of time and progress of civilisation and numerous improvements innovations and changes have been witnessed in pot manufacturing.The Blue Pottery's origin lies in Iran. If is from there that it gradually spread towards Delhi and Agra through Afghanistan. But presently seems no comparison of Jaipur Blue Pottery with any other place in the entire word. The credit for development of this art in Jaipur goes to its erstwhile ruler Sawai Ram Singh -II (1835-1880). For about 100 years the art of Blue Pottery Continued to flourish here. But thereafter for reasons unknown this art gradually vanished its entirety.

An excellent product for soil filled pots for plants with weight upto maximum 10 Kgs. The chances of rusting when kept in open place due to rain or watering is less as the round base is made with plastic material. It is value for money @ Rs 204 for 5 pieces. I have ordered for two more sets instantly. It is better to avoid using for cement pots for plant i.e. very heavy when filled with soil. The inner diameter is 16 CMs and the outer diameter is 18.5 CMs. The height of it is 8.5 CMs. The supplier should think of offering slightly bigger in diameter and more sturdy for placing heavy pots made with cement.
