Advantages

I am sorry, but I have to say this, people have been ignorant with their reviews here. I mean, most red poha takes more time to soften after wash (30 minutes to 45 minutes). But, people are writing reviews by comparing it with normal poha.

It is tough. Something wrong with the way the flakes were initially cooked probably. It won't soak as expected. You will have to keep the flakes immersed in water for at least 30 mins for them to soften. I made poha and Puttu (after grinding it coarsely) with it and it turned out quite tasty. Only thing is be prepared for LONG soaking time.
